Hello Rathke family. I had the pleasure of working with "Wild Bill" from 1993 until his retirement. It was a wild time in Kitsap Transit history. Full of growth and construction leading to busy evening shifts that Bill would say were "getting western".
Bill spoke fondly of of his family -all of you- very often. He lit up like a Christmas tree when he spoke about his love, Mary.
Im sorry to hear of his passing, but glad to have known him.
God bless you and keep you.

Bill was a good friend and former neighbor in Rainier Crossing condo development. I still remember him several years ago riding by on his bicycle which had a little trailer behind it with an electric boost that it provided. He was really interesting to talk with. May he and Mary both rest in peace.
