Eric Beck Obituary
He graduated from Plymouth High School in 2007 as a Salutatorian. Eric went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Colorado Christian University, his master's degree in Literature in Scripture and Theology from the University of St. Andrews, and his doctorate in New Testament and Christian Origins from the University of Edinburgh. He was also a Research Fellow at the University of Regensburg in Germany and could read in three languages, Hebrew, Greek, and Ethiopic.
Eric married Jaime Wright from New York State on June 24, 2016, in Scotland. She was a fellow academic who received her doctorate in Science and Religion with a Focus on Literature.
Determined, passionate and disciplined in education adequately describes Eric's endeavors to pursue excellence, which eventually led into publishing.
Eric was a lifelong Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan which stemmed into a collection of memorabilia into his adult age.
He was a member of Crossroads Church in Plymouth, Indiana before moving to Scotland.
He is survived by his wife Jaime of Scotland; Mother Debra Beck of Plymouth; brother Adam (Karina) Beck of Nashville, TN; sister Megan Beck of Memphis, TN; nieces: Arabella, Coraline, Meadow Beck and nephews: Mogan and Xavier Beck.
Eric is preceded in death by his father Robert and his grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Crossroads Church, 1650 N. Oak Drive, Plymouth, IN 46563. A celebration of life will immediately follow with Pastor Scott Yoder officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to Dustin's Place, P.O. Box 94, Plymouth, IN 46563.
