NAPPANEE - Norma J. Fisher, age 92, passed away at 1:47 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Lakeland Loving Care Center in Milford, where she had resided for three years.
She was born March 11, 1926 in Bremen to Foster and Mary (Sherk) Pittman.
On Jan. 2, 1943, she married John W. Fisher. He preceded in death Nov. 14, 2001.
Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker and had worked at Heaters, INC in North Webster. She was a member of First Brethren Church in Nappanee, where she was part of the quilt and sewing group. Norma enjoyed her grandchildren, playing cards, mushroom hunting, and crocheting.
Surviving are her children, Fred (Natheta) Fisher, Knoxville, Tenn., Gwen (Phil) Hershberger, Bremen, Shirley (Keith) Blosser, Nappanee, Brenda (John) Busch, Syracuse; 13 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and niece, Pam Bollman, Bremen.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Michael Greene and sister Kathleen Dutopi.
Family and friends may call from 3-8, Thursday, Oct. 25, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and for one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be at 10:30, Friday, Oct. 26 at First Brethren Church in Nappanee. Rev. Tom Shiefer will officiate and burial will be in Milford Cemetery,
