RoseAnn Hall Obituary

"Don't focus on the problem; focus on Christ and all the blessings he provides for you in the situation." RoseAnn's servant and compassionate heart shined through even as her body shut down. She cared for those around her as her Lord was preparing to take her home, especially the nurses at Culver Miller's Merry Manor, ensuring they got snacks and meals as they cared for her. She continued to pray and provide for family friends preparing for surgery with her creative donations.
RoseAnn went to be with her heavenly Father on Feb. 1, 2022, with her immediate family by her side.
RoseAnn "Rosie" Hall was born Oct. 6, 1948, to Robert and Phyllis (Nye) Lytle. She graduated from Triton High School and was a member of Bourbon's First United Methodist Church. RoseAnn was married for over a half-century to her childhood sweetheart Steve. They were married on July 21, 1968, at the church where they were both members.
Her servant working career included working at Pathfinder Services, Pilgrim Manor, Mason Health Care of Warsaw, and Real Services as a nutrition site director.
She enjoyed serving others' at the Methodist Broadway Christian Parish of South Bend, Boy Scouts Bourbon, and Marshall County 4-H programs. Teaching Sunday School was a special delight.
She was a light to others and used lights to decorate her home to welcome family and friends both inside and outside. Red lights for Valentine's day, Greenlights for St. Patrick's day, Red, white, blue lights for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Veterans Day, and orange lights for fall.
Even though she is not the family cook, the family savored her caramel corn and Chex mix that she enjoyed making for them.
Hall enjoyed cheering on her grandsons' school and sporting events when she could.
RoseAnn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stephen; daughter Stephanie Hall and significant other Jim Faulkner of Culver, IN; son Alan (Kathy) Hall of Plymouth, IN; grandsons Travis (Rebecca) Lee of Brownsburg, IN; Matthew (Makaela) Hopkins of Plymouth, IN; Trey Hall of Plymouth, IN; her sisters: Sheron (Jim) Knepp of Tippecanoe, IN; Diane (Mac) Mauk of South Bend, IN; an aunt Mary Nafrady of Mishawaka, IN; great-granddaughter Melea Hopkins of Plymouth, IN; sister-in-law Janet Trowbridge of Bourbon, IN; brother-in-law Chet (Jane) Hall of Bourbon, IN; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bourbon Fire Department Equipment Fund.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a funeral to follow at 2 p.m. in The Bourbon First United Methodist Church, 204 N. Washington Street, Bourbon, IN, with Kenneth Cooke and great-nephew Glenn Knepp officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Bourbon, IN).
RoseAnn will be pleased if you choose to attend in red attire.
Thank you to all our family, friends, and community for your prayer support during this difficult time.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral home is privileged to be entrusted with assisting the family with arrangements.
Face masks and social distancing will be required during visitation and funeral service because our county is in the "Red Covid19 designation".

I was privileged to know RoseAnn thru REAL Services as I worked with Ruth Walker at Culver, who is also a client of Millers Manor. I knew her as a very loving and caring person and sorry I didn't know she was at Millers or would have gone in to see her, a special lady. My condolences to her family,
