Becky Talati Obituary
She graduated from Bishop Luers High School and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. Becky was known community-wide for her unlimited kindness, generosity and unconditional love. She served the students and staff of Fort Wayne Community Schools for more than 40 years as a nurse at Northrop, Holland, Northcrest, Shawnee and Lincoln.
Later, from 1996 to 2004, she oversaw all FWCS nurses as Health Services Specialist while continuing to serve as a substitute school nurse, which she enjoyed until very recently. She cared for children in all 50 schools and touched countless young lives doing what she loved.
She is survived by her husband and best friend of 51 years, Percy; son, Dan; daughter-in-law, Aimee; and son, Pete. Additionally, she adored four wonderful grandchildren: Haley, Nick, Josh and Zack. She is also survived by three sisters, Beth (Steve) Rabourn, Pat Roller (Pete Kelly), and Peggy (Jack) Kelly.
An informal gathering in honor of Becky, will be held Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN. In lieu of flowers or cards, the family has requested that all donations be made to Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities, 3320 N Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805.

Deepest sympathy to my Bishop Luers' classmates Pat Roller and Sylvia Detmer on the loss of your spectacular sister Becky. You both knew her longer than even her husband, sons, and grandchildren, meaning her departure from your lives is THE most difficult to endure. I remember her very welcoming and unending smile which Becky gave everyone in cheer block, esp us lil' freshmen learning the BL Fight Song and cheers for the first time! To all her grieving family members, recalling your fondest memories are as timeless as they are priceless; may you lean on Our Lord forever as your support, too.

I remember Becky and Percy coming to my cafe in Columbia City many years ago and ordering many loaves of vegetable bread for friends. Always enjoyed visiting with you both.

Becky is an tremendous example of a life well-lived. We have so many wonderful memories - Sacred Heart, BLHS, Victoria Park, Village baseball, the Lake, Weddings and of course - the Boys. Peace and Blessings to your family. You will always be in my heart.

I am very sadden by the loss of my friend of 40 years. Becky, Connie and I gave new meaning to what people say when going various directions "we'll stay in touch"...well we did! Our time together is special, In our hearts Connie, Becky and I wherever we are will "stay in touch".

Percy and family, Helen and I are very sorry for your loss. Becky was a good friend since our Little League days at Village Woods. I also spent many years with FWCS and she loved her job and was a very dedicated employee. Losing a loved one is so hard, but memories of those we love are priceless. May God truly bless all of you.
