Cathaline Ressler
COLUMBIA CITY - Cathaline C. Ressler, 99, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Miller's at Oak Pointe.
Born on Oct. 30, 1925, in Whitley County, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late William and Cherl (Smith) Adkins.
Cathaline is survived by her children, Billie Ressler, of Columbia City, Indiana, and Gary (Diane) Ressler, of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Renee (Mike) Stairhime, Mikel Ressler, Philip (Wendy) Ressler, John Ressler, Adam Ressler, Leah (Chris) Glace and Jenna (Travis) Lahann; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and special companion, Jim Ward.
Along with her parents, Cathaline was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ressler; son, Tony Ressler; daughter, Cheryleen Ressler; and brothers, Walter "Jake" (Eileen) Adkins and Victor "Joe" (Marge) Adkins.
Services were held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
Burial was at South Park Original Cemetery.

Shelley Ann Carley, 59, of rural Columbia City, Indiana, died at 6:47 p.m., on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
A memorial gathering will begin at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Tri-Lakes Baptist Church, 5679 N. Center St., Columbia City, IN 46725, with a memorial service starting at 7 p.m.
Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
Memorials in Shelley's honor may be made at to the Diabetes Association.
