WARSAW - Martha Louise Kreider, 66, of Warsaw, Indiana, died peacefully at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, at her home.
Born on Aug. 16, 1959, in Columbia City, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Glenn Paul and Eloise (Blackwood) Frank.
She spent her formative years in Columbia Township and graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1977. She enjoyed cheer block, drama and choir, and was the prom queen. She also attended International Business College for Secretarial Science.
As a teenager, she enjoyed working at the family floral business of Frank's Greenhouse where she developed a love of plants, flowers and gardening.
On June 24, 1979, she was united in marriage to James L. Kreider. They made their home in Columbia City, until moving to their current home in Warsaw.
She attended several churches through her lifetime, including Columbia City Church of the Brethren, United Methodist Church, Oak Grove Church of God and First Church of God, making her final church home Mission Point in Warsaw after moving there.
Martha worked at several companies, Bloom, Bloom & Fleck, the Bowen Center, Magnavox, and Kosciusko hospital, where she was a medical and business transcriptionist before retiring in 2021.
She is survived by a son, and joy of their life, Jared M. Krider, of Warsaw; sister, Mary (Marisa) Frank, of Fort Wayne; and brother, Samuel (Ann) Frank, of Columbia City.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David Frank.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday Sept. 27, 2025 at Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service at the funeral home
