Anna Patrick Obituary
Anna was born on March 6, 1939, in Grassflat, a daughter of the late James G. and Anna (Hvizdash) Yurky.
She was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Yurky; a sister, Irene Yurky; and a half-brother, John Yurky.
She was a lifetime member of the Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Grassflat, a lifetime member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, (FCSLA), a 1957 graduate of the former Cooper Township High School. After high school, she was employed for a short time at the former Philipsburg General Cigar Factory. Then, became a full-time homemaker. Anna, married Eugene E. Patrick, Aug. 13, 1960, (who survives at home) at Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Grassflat. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this August.
She is survived by six children Mark (Kylertown), Eugene Jr. (Munson), Karen (Grassflat), Michele (Clearfield), Daniel (Bay Village, Ohio), Brenda (Pinellas Park, Fla.), seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She enjoyed trap shooting, ceramics, walking, feeding her birds, laying in her swing in the summer and enjoying her fireplace in the winter.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Grassflat, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated with Father Zab as celebrant.
She will be laid to rest at the Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Grassflat.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anna's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
