Anna Ricotta Obituary
Born Aug. 16, 1933, in Hawk Run, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Anna (Messick) Swansegar.
She was a graduate of the former Morris Township High School. She retired from the former Mid State Bank after 35 years of employment. Prior to that, she was employed as a secretary by the former Curtis-Wright Corporation in Quehanna.
On Jan. 30, 1953, she married Joseph J. Ricotta, who preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 1989.
Anna is survived by her son, James E. Ricotta and wife Joan K., of Morrisdale; two granddaughters, Crystal D. Ricotta of Lake Tahoe, Nev., and Tiffany M. Ricotta, Philipsburg; one grandson, Jared J. Ricotta and wife, Cara M. of Philipsburg; and six grandchildren: Tanner Kagy, Diem Johnson and Giovanni, Giuseppe, Giuliana, and Pasquale Ricotta.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, George, and Nick Swansegar; and a sister, Irene Tocimak.
There will be no public visitation.
A private memorial service will be held by her immediate family at a later date.
Her final resting place will be next to her beloved husband in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery.
