BERTHA HANSON Obituary
Born Dec. 25, 1935 in Gearhartville, she was a daughter of the late Albert C. Hull Sr. and Amanda (Woods) Hull.
Bertha worked at the former Philipsburg Hospital and cleaned for local residences. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking and baking.
On Dec. 30, 1952 in Philipsburg, she married Carl H. Hanson Sr., who preceded her in death on April 25, 1988.
Bertha is survived by six children, Beverly Frias of Florida, Helen Baronak of Philipsburg, Carl Hanson Jr. of Missouri, Thomas Hanson of Philipsburg, Timothy Hanson of Camp Hill and Barbara Byrnes (Matt) of Carlstadt, N.J.; ten grandchildren, Cory, Dwayne, Janet, Joe, Rebecca, Travis, Joann, Melissa, Susan and Hilmer; and five-great grandchildren, McKenna, Kylie, Charles, Chloe and Adam.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Lindberg; a granddaughter, Janaka; eight siblings, Margaret Newman, Howard Hull, Marjorie Hull, Grace Hull, Olive Harris, Curtis Hull, John Hull and Albert Hull Jr.; and infant brothers, Roy and Curtis.
Honoring Bertha's wishes, there will be no public viewing.
A public memorial service will be held at a later date and time.
Memorial contributions in Bertha's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451; or at www.heart.org.
