Brenda Jones Obituary

MORRISDALE - Brenda Marie Jones, 60, of Morrisdale, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 12, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey.

Born Dec. 23, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Grace (McQuillen) and Richard Williams.

On May 25, 1985, Brenda wed Darwin (Dave) Jones, the love of her life and her best friend, who survives at home.

Brenda is survived by two children, Ryan Jones, Clearfield, and Chellcey Owens and husband James of Hawk Run. She has four grandchildren, Serenity, Grayson, Penelope and Owen. She is also survived by a sister, Linda Bowes (Clair); a brother, Randy Williams; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Williams; her sister, Judy Williams; and a granddaughter, MercyRae Owens.

Brenda was a hard-working woman who took amazing care of her family. She loved her beautiful home and caring for it, gardening, crafts, and being outdoors. She loved casino trips with her husband, family picnics, and enjoying time with her grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart.

Family and friends will be received at the family home at 145 Gracie Lane, Morrisdale on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. for a memorial service and blessing.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, monetary contributions can be made to the Reed Funeral Home.
