DANIEL DANKO Obituary
Born on Nov. 12, 1949 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Michael and Rose (Cowell) Danko.
He married Linda K. Sinclair on Oct. 8, 1977 in Osceola Mills; she survives at home.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, the B.P.O.Elks 1173 in Philipsburg, and the L.O.O. Moose in Osceola Mills.
Daniel was a retired corrections officer from SCI Houtzdale. He was a 1967 graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School and a 1972 graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by three sons, Craig Danko and his wife Christy of Curwensville, Trevor Danko and his wife Dorian of Houtzdale, and Aaron Danko and his wife Hannah of Philipsburg; two sisters, Debbie Zeiders and her husband Rick of Harrisburg, and Dawn Sariano and her husband David of Halifax; four brothers, Doug Danko and his wife Barb of Fort Mill, S.C., Dennis Danko and his wife Raquel of Virginia Beach, Va., Drew Danko of Osceola Mills, and Desmond Danko and his wife Laura of Irwin; and six grandchildren, Luke, Maylayna, Makayla, Elyana, Quinn and Norah.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Fr. Zab Amar, celebrant. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Osceola Mills.
Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, Osceola Mills is in charge of arrangements.
