DANIEL DANKO Obituary
Born Feb. 26, 1963, in Philipsburg, he was the son of Mildred K. (Bagrosky) Danko of Osceola Mills, and the late Albert J. Danko.
He was a member of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Osceola Mills.
Daniel was a life member of the Harley Owners club and a member of St. Anthony's Society in Osceola Mills.
He was a retired commercial construction manager for McDevitt & Street.
Daniel was a 1981 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School and a 1983 graduate of Williamsport Community College.
He was an avid NASCAR fan, rode in Rolling Thunder annually to support veterans, and a Washington Capitals fan. He was a man of great faith who loved carpentry, birdwatching, his fat boy, and family.
In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by two sisters, Diana Marie Lesko of Philipsburg, and Daleen Matia and her husband Jeffrey of Philipsburg; and three brothers, David Albert Danko and his wife Tanya of Philipsburg, Dale James Danko of Osceola Mills, and Don Michael Danko and his wife Paula of Allport.
A private funeral service will be held at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Osceola Mills, with Archimandrite Jacob Piruta officiating.
Burial will be at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, in Osceola Mills.
Memorial contribution may be made to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 414 French St., Osceola Mills, PA 16666; SPCA, 275 21st St., Clearfield, PA 16830; or Osceola Mills Community Library, 600 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA 16666.
