David Holes Obituary

CLEARFIELD - David G. Holes, 71, of Clearfield, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at his home.

Born June 10, 1954, in Thompsontown, he was the son of the late Merle and Violet (Kitchen) Holes.

David was a chef and horticulturist by trade. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing. He attended the Zion Baptist Church with his mother.

David is survived by daughters, Angela Hale and finance George Smith, DuBois, Vicki (Ken) Evans, Zebulon, N.C.; and sons, Leo Nelson Creek, N.C., Edward Creek, N.D.; grandchildren, Kaylee (Jon) Box, Fantisia and Sebastian Evans, Dillon Smith and several other grandchildren; great grandchildren, Edmund Box, several other great grandchildren; and also survived by siblings; Melvin Holes, Calif., Leonard Holes, A.K., Arnold Holes, State College, Amos Holes, Pa., Austin Holes, Pa., Helen Showl, Ark., Joy Turk, Pa., Margaret Trice, Calif., Abigail Theobold, Mass.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters and a son, David and his wife, Lori Creek.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. followed by a service at 4 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, with LaMarr Adamson CLP officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the family, to help with funeral expenses.
