DAVID PORVAZNIK Obituary

IRWIN - David Joseph Porvaznik, 73, of Irwin, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.

Born on March 20, 1950 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of John and Josie (Winters) Porvaznik.

David graduated from West Mifflin Area High School and went on to receive his Associate degree in drafting.

David retired as a lineman. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying fishing and hunting.

He married the former Susan J. Killeen, who preceded him in death on March 14, 2017.

David is survived by two sons, David Aaron (Sherry) Porvaznik of Latrobe, Daniel Porvaznik of Jeannette; and one grandson, Levi Porvaznik. He is also survived by one sister, Donna Porvaznik of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; wife Susan of 42 years; and one brother, Tom.

Friends will be received at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. The Rev. John White will be the officiant.

Interment will be in the Bradford E.U.B. Cemetery, Woodland.
