Dorothy Brocail Obituary
Born on Nov. 28, 1934, in Philipsburg, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Lee Kennedy and Anna M. (Hughes) Kennedy. She married Donald J. Brocail on Aug. 23, 1952 in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2011.
Dorothy was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church.
She was a retired cook for the Osceola Mills Elementary School.
Dorothy was a 1952 graduate from the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Charles R. Kennedy.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Cheryl "Cherie" Hrenko and her husband Patrick Hrenko, Sr. of Clearfield, and Melissa "Missy" Shaw of Chester Hill, Philipsburg; seven grandchildren, Angel Zurawski and her husband Brent, Kelly Baney, Ronald Bryan, Donny Baney and his partner Amanda Rickard, Brandon Ramos and his wife Rebecca, Patrick Hrenko, Jr. and his wife Savannah, and Jessica Fahr and her husband Jeremy; eighteen great-grandchildren, Luke, Braelyn, Jocelyn, DJ, Caiden, Jordyn, Miranda, Paige, Persayus, Colden, Takoa, Hope, Camille, Mackenzie, Madison, Beckett, Sawyer, and Reagan; and one great-great grandson, Malaki.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church. Pastor Kelly Wian and Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes will officiate.
Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the church.
Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, Osceola Mills is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church at 303 1/2 Curtin St., Osceola Mills, PA 16666.
