Dorothy Moore Obituary
Born on Sept. 28, 1936 in Philipsburg, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Guy Teats and Ella (Ateon) Teats. She married Kenneth L. Moore, Sr. on Feb. 7, 1953 in Clearfield. Kenneth preceded Dorothy in death on Nov. 5, 2004.
Dorothy was of the Christian Faith.
She was a retired waitress.
Dorothy was a high school graduate.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Gormont; a son, Paul Moore; two sisters, Betty McDowell and Olive Gaines; and four brothers, Guy Teats Jr., Chauncey Teats, Francis Teats, and Harold Teats.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter Becky J. Jordan and her husband Marc of Clearfield; four sons, Kenneth Moore, Jr. and his wife Patty of Drifting, Terry Moore and his wife Donna of Florida, Robert Moore and his wife Debra of Philipsburg, and Eric Moore and his wife Beth of Frenchville; a previous daughter-in-law, Cindy Graham; eight grandchildren, Kenneth III, Sandra, Angel, Collette, Brooke, McKenzie, Logan, and Scott; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The funeral will take place on Friday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, at 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills. Pastor Susan L. Arnold will officiate.
There will be visitation on Friday, Feb. 21 from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Karthaus.
Memorial contributions can me made to an organization of the donors choosing.
