DOUGLAS ROLLEY Obituary
Born Jan. 10, 1956 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Ross Clement Rolley and Elizabeth Jane (Dubesky) Rolley, who survives in Egg Harbor, N.J.
Also surviving is his son, Bradley Rolley of Grassflat; his granddaughter, Kendra Rolley of Maryland, and his lifelong dear partner, Chrissy Little of Grassflat.
He was often called "Clem" after his grandfather, who he was like.
He will be sadly missed by his surviving brothers and sisters, Ronald and Judith Rolley of Frenchville, Patrick and Brenda Rolley of Woodbridge, Va., Christopher Rolley of Karthaus, Joseph and Liz Rolley of Huntington, Paul Rolley of Oak Hill, Rebecca Clark of State College, Veronica Rainelli of New Jersey, Lisa Dizon of New Jersey, and many nieces and nephews. Doug was a very kind person and always enjoyed a little humor. His son Bradley meant the world to him.
Doug graduated from West Branch Area High School, Allport, in 1974 and attended Dubois Business College, DuBois.
Over the years he was employed by Conrail & Clark Motor Company of State College, and retired from his job at West Branch Area High School two years ago. Being retired, he enjoyed his motorcycle rides with his brothers, and their hunting camp. A perfectionist he was and his love for cars made him an excellent mechanic.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Frenchville, with the Rev. Fr. William Barron as celebrant.
He will be laid to rest in St. Mary's of the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.

The last time I saw Dougie at Frenchville Picnic a few years ago, I thought it was Grandpa Rolley walking toward me. What a jolt! He looked exactly like him.

To all the Rolley family and friends,
I will NEVER NEVER forget looking forward to each of our trips to Snowshoe to see Baba and Zeda. One of the reasons we LOVED these trips was that we would also go to Karthaus, stay with Aunt Margie, Uncle Reese, and fam, and RUN DOWN THE HILL to see all of the Rolley's!! What fun! We always had a blast with you all. Going to the reservoir, climbing up to the upstairs bedroom, playing in the yard, etc.
Just GREAT!! Then the family reunions at the camp. WOW!! Dougie was the hit of the party for sure, keeping the fire burning and having fun with everyone there. Dougie - keep your fire burning. I'm sure your Dad and my Dad, along with many others, will be joining you!! LOVE TO ALL!!
