HELEN LIEGEY Obituary
Born Feb. 8, 1933 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Irvin A. and Iva C. (Graham) Gormont.
Helen was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Clearfield. She was a 1951 graduate of Clearfield Area High School. Helen was employed for a number of years by McGregor Sportswear and JoAnn Fabrics, both of Clearfield. She was a member of the N.O.N. Club, Clearfield and enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and reading.
Helen is survived by her four children, Charlene (Ray) Randall of Wichita, Kan., Daniel Liegey of Rainelle, W.Va., Mark Liegey of Clearfield, and Tia (Craig) Lansberry of Woodland; seven grandchildren, Matthew Hill, Michael Hill, Daniel Liegey, Drew Liegey, Jenna Liegey, Jacob Lansberry, and Katelyn Lansberry; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Buttons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two grandchildren, Jason Hill and Paul Liegey.
Friends may make memorial contributions in Helen's name to Allegheny Spay & Neutering Clinic, 1380 Shawville Hwy., Woodland, PA 16881.
At Helen's request, all services will be private.

Dear Mark, I will NEVER forget parents day in Mrs. Owens´ first grade class at Plymptonville. When your Mom, Helen, entered the room, you introduced her by saying, "Everybody, this is my Mom, Helen!"
She was so cool! She smiled at you, then at us and said she was happy to be there.
What an awesome lady and what an awesome relationship you must have had.
So sorry for your loss. Take care.
