James Luzier Obituary
Born Nov. 28, 1945 in Clearfield, he was the son of the late James E. Luzier Sr. and Dorothy (Showden) Luzier.
On Nov. 20, 1965, in Summit Hill United Methodist Church, Morrisdale, he wed the love of his life, Helen J. (Smeal) Luzier, and after 57 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 2022.
Surviving are his children, Paula Hamm, Lecontes Mills, Angela Graham, Clearfield, Brian Luzier and wife Mindy, Felton; son-in-law, Carl Martin, Jr., Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Tom Luzier and wife Kim, Clearfield, Trudy Shaw and husband Jeff, Mount Airy, N.C.; and nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Martin; a great-grandson, Bentley Graham; his father and mother-in-law, Willis and Dorothy Smeal; and his fur baby, Sadie.
James was affiliated with the United Methodist Church. He was a 1963 graduate of Clearfield High School then a veteran of the US Army. He worked for PennDOT, painting lines on the roadways, for over 40 years, he then drove the school van for R&A Bus Company, Karthaus.
Per his wishes, the viewing and funeral service are private.
He will be laid to rest in Congress Hill Cemetery, Lecontes Mills, next to his wife.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the charity of the donor's choice.

Jim and his family were our next door neighbors growing up. We loved them all.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I remember Jim, Tom and Trudy, as well as their parents. Jim was the same age as my brother Bob and i believe Tom was my age, or close to it. Our family lived in Bald Hill till Oct., 1957, and we all went to school in Girard. I'm sure Jim will be missed.
