Kathryn Squiers Obituary
Born Aug. 5, 1930 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of Leo and Wonetau (Solliday) Price. She had worked at Guglielmi's Drug store in Curwensville and was also a homemaker. She had attended Bible Fellowship Church in Luthersburg.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Squiers, and Timothy Squiers and his girlfriend, Michele Jury, all of Grampian; and a grandson, Devin Squiers of Grampian.
She was the last member of her generation.
On June 28, 1950 she wed George Squiers, who preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Ronald Price.
Services for Kathryn Squiers will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Lowell MacDonald officiating. Interment will be held in the Friends Cemetery in Grampian.
Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. and on Thursday from noon until the time of services at 1 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Susquehanna Community Church, 503 Filbert Street, Curwensville, PA 16833.
