MARGARET MOORE Obituary
Born Jan. 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Maxwell and Margaret (Graham) Forcey.
On Nov. 16, 1951 at the Woodland Methodist Church, she wed David Eugene Moore who preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 2007.
Surviving are her daughters, Marianne Beyer and husband Terry of Coalport, Patricia L Garner and husband Dave of Sinking Valley; her grandchildren, Maridawn Shirey and husband Ryan of Woodland, Elizabeth Mahan and husband Matt of Pensacola, Fla., David Beyer of Coalport; her great-grandchildren, Mattie, Raylee and William Shirey, Joshua, Abigail, Lucas and Timothy Mahan. She was the last of her generation.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twin sons; an infant daughter, Gail Suzanne Moore; and her siblings, James, Paul, Maxwell, Jr.; Francis and Dwight Forcey.
Eleanor was a member of the Dale United Methodist Church, Woodland. She attended registered nurse training but left to marry her husband of 56 years. She worked for several local long-term facilities and retired in 1994 from Nittany Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, Pleasant Gap. For a number of years, she kept busy breeding horses and dogs. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her life was her family which she loved dearly.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Brenda Libreatori officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Dale United Methodist Cemetery, Woodland.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Dale United Methodist Church, Dale Road, Woodland, PA 16881.
