Nancy Wilson Obituary
Born April 1, 1944, in Westover, she was the daughter of the late Orrin and Daphne (Blake) Gates.
Nancy attended Westover Elementary and Harmony High School.
She married Donald Wilson on July 29, 1961.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Terry, Jeff, Kevin and Arthur Gates; son-in-law, Dan Powers; and great-grandsons, Hunter and Trevor Smarsh.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband; children, Catherine Wilson and Donald Jr. (Gloria) Wilson, both of Cherry Tree; Victoria Powers, Punxsutawney; David (Stephanie) Wilson, Indiana; grandchildren, Alicia Smarsh, Michael Rushnok, Brittany Bowers, Tyler Rushnok, Casey Geer; Maddox Wilson; and six great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of Darlene Weckerly, Janetta Finegan, Lee Ann Weakland, Chalmer Gates, Sandy Rinesmith, Thomas, Robin, and Michael Gates.
Nancy was fiercely dedicated to both her immediate and extended family. She was always first to offer help to whomever had a need. She was also passionate about family history and did extensive genealogy research. In her free time, she enjoyed working on puzzles.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
