NORMA KRISE Obituary
She was born on July 20, 1940 in Rimersburg, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Lindenpitz) Rider.
Mrs. Krise attained two Master's degrees, one in elementary education and one in special education. She taught special education for 25 1/2 years, with most of the years spent at the former Leonard Grade School.
She enjoyed reading and traveling to various destinations in her motor home.
Norma was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, Woodland.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald B. Krise, whom she wed July 25, 1980; two sons, Terry Hawk and wife Debbie, and Brett Hawk and wife Kelly; five step children, Ronald 'Bud' Krise and wife Cherre, Russell Krise and wife Theresa, Karen Krise and wife Margo, Patricia Crater and husband Kevin, and Diane Evans and husband Dave; five grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a brother, Otto Rider and wife Betty; two sisters, Gladys Lustic and Pamela Miller and husband the Rev. Stephen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence 'Pete' Daniel Hawk; two grandsons, Braden Maines and Ryan Hawk; two brothers, Daniel 'Vaughn' Rider and Craig Rider; and a sister, Nancy Connor.
Honoring Norma's wishes, there will be no public services.
Interment will be at Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Alliance Church, 56 Alliance Rd., Clearfield, PA 16830.
