Robert Deluccia Obituary

Robert E. "Bob" Deluccia, Sr., 86 of Curwensville, passed away in his home, on Friday, September 12, with his family by his side.

Born on May 23, 1939, in Curwensville, he was the son of Wigi and Carmen (Patterson) Deluccia.

He was a graduate of Curwensville Area High School, Class of 1958. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy.

Robert was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Curwensville and recently became affiliated with the Curwensville Alliance Church.

He became a barber and worked in State College and in his home in Curwensville. He retired in 2006 from the Curwensville Borough Police Department where he served as Police Chief.

Robert was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons Noble Lodge 480, Curwensville. He served on the Curwensville School Board for several years. Robert also helped to organize the Curwensville Car Show, held each year during Curwensville Days.

On July 6,1963, he married Carol Sinclair and raised their family of four children: Robert E. Deluccia, Jr. (Coleen), Holly Holt (Robert), Pat Deluccia, and Kyle Deluccia (companion, Jess Bell), all of Curwensville.

Robert is also survived by eight grandchildren, Dylan Deluccia, Dan Holt, Caitlin Holt, Jorjia Deluccia, Jaxen Deluccia, Jazen Deluccia, Jedi Deluccia, Jazzmyn Deluccia, and four great-grandchildren.

He was the last member of his generation having been preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carol, who passed on May 22, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Stephen D. Shields officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept, 17, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. until the hour of services. A Masonic Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 5:45 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 108 R North Second St., Suite 1B, Clearfield, PA 16830.
