Robert Greenaway Obituary
He was born in Madera on Dec. 4, 1938 to the late Robert J. Greenaway Sr. and Anna (Rebon) Greenaway.
He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Madera United Methodist Church, where he served as an usher. He worked until his retirement at North American Refractory in Curwensville. He was a tee-ball coach for many years. He was an excellent dart player and loved reading the sports section of The Progress everyday. And he really enjoyed hunting and fishing with Paul and Josh.
On May 1, 1981, he married Frances Supenia in Madera UMC. She survives at home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Robert Greenaway of Colorado, and Dawn Greenaway of Delaware; two step-children, Darlene (Leroy) Delattre of Madera, and Deborah LeCerf of Virginia; two brothers, Walter Greenway and John (Sue Ann) Greenaway; four grandchildren, Greg (Megan) Greenaway, Clayton (Nikki) Greenaway, Paul (Joanne) Rodkey, and Josh Rodkey; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Makenna.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-daughter, Diane Lecerf.
Friends will be received 2-6 pm Monday and 10am until the time of service at 11 Tuesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey. Pastor Robert Ford will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow in Fruit Hill Cemetery.
