Robert Shomo Obituary
He was born Feb. 11, 1950, in Philipsburg, a son of the late Donald C. and Grace E. (Beers) Shomo.
He is survived by five siblings: Larry D. Shomo of Dysart, Phyllis J. Hescox of Roaring Spring, Linda D. Nardelli and Rusty W. Shomo, both of Coalport and Lora L. Weakland of Bedford. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Shomo.
He was a 1968 graduate of Reade Twp. High School and had been employed as a dragline operator for the former Benjamin Coal Company in LaJose.
Friends and family are invited to his viewing on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with funeral services interjected at 7 p.m.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
