SCOTT BURCHILL Obituary
Scott was born on May 30, 1949, in Philipsburg, a son of the late Elmer R. and Audrey (Stewart) Burchill.
He was a 1967 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School. He was also a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport.
Scott was employed during his working career in transportation operations with a number of trucking companies.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Scott was married on Sept. 6, 1975, in Winburne, to the former Margaret J. "Peggy" Kadash, who preceded him in death on Sept. 22, 2001.
Scott is survived by his companion, Pam Warsing of Philipsburg; two brothers, Richard D. Burchill and his wife Judy of State College, and Kent S. Burchill and his wife Sue of Georgetown, Texas; three nieces, Jennifer and Emily Burchill, and he was especially close with his niece Dana Shimmel of Philipsburg; two nephews, Douglas and David Burchill; and his uncle, William Burchill.
A funeral service will be held at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Noon, with the Rev. Fr. Robert McKay, IV, officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made in Scott's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
