Carl Almonte Obituary

Carl Almonte beloved husband, father and friend passed away peacefully at home, with his wife and son by his side, on November 12, after his courageous battle with cancer. He was 68 years old.Carl was married to his soul mate Paula for 30 years and in 1995 they had a son, Austin, who Carl loved so very much.Carl was a master carpenter and in 2005 he started his business, Almonte Construction.Carl enjoyed family life and spending time with his many friends. He had many passions, including golf, music, old westerns, his Harleys, 1966 Ford Mustang, and his favorite 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. He will be missed by all his friends and family and we all will remember his beautiful smile, willingness to lend a helping hand, and our fond memories of time spent together.Carl was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Mary Almonte.Carl is survived by his loving wife Paula Almonte, son Austin Almonte, siblings Frankie and Richie Puerta, Sharon Coupe, and Mary Ann Hill, and many nieces and nephews.A celebration of Carl's life will be held Sunday, January 14th at 12:00 noon at the Moose Lodge, 6585 Gibson Canyon Road."Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal" ~ Irish proverb
