David Hetrick Obituary
David A. Hetrick, 61, of Fairfield, went home to be with our Lord, Jan. 8. He had battled stomach cancer for seven months, and passed in his sleep, at home. He was born Sept. 10, 1954 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Bill E. and Alyce Hetrick (Shadle). A 1972 graduate of Northside High School. He retired from the USAF, after 23 years of service and worked with Lowes of Vacaville / Fairfield for the last 15 years. He was proud that his son and son-in-law are both serving in our armed forces.
Survived by his loving wife, Laura (Lori) Hetrick; daughter, Meghan (Joe) Speris; two grandsons, Joey and Landon; son, Scott (Molly) Hetrick; sister, Mick (Patricia) Steury; brother. Tom (Nancy) Hetrick, several nieces and nephews.
Services are being delayed until April 1, at 10 a.m., at Orchard Ave Baptist Church, Vacaville. Donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
