Dean (Dino) Vincent Cruz. Dean was born on Feb. 21, 1968, in Fairfield, Calif. He was 41 years old and lived in Fairfield, Calif.
On Jan. 21, our beloved Dean, our Nino was called home by our Heavenly Father. Dean was an amazing man, family to everyone he met. He worked in the software industry, was involved in coaching Little League for his nephews, and taught drumming with his family.
Every student that ever came into the family considered him their "Uncle Dean." Everyone he met, he considered family and was admired, loved and respected by all. Dean enjoyed caring for his parents, spending time with his friends and family. His favorite dish was "sushi and pokie" of all kinds. He was an avid Raiders fan and loved the Oakland A's.
He is survived by his loving family: parents, Vicente and Teresita Cruz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Al and Teres Cruz, Clarence and Teresa Cruz; sister, Bernie Cruz; six nephews, Brandon, Chad, Justin, Garrett-Dean, Corey and Samuel Cruz; four nieces, Destiny Robbins, Christa, Deresa and Sheena Cruz Blankenship and her husband Eric Blankenship; grand nieces and nephews, Laila Marie Blankenship, Jayda Sweeney, Vincent and Adrian Cruz.
A visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. with the Rosary being said at 7 p.m. at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Jan 29, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fairfield, Calif.
Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 425-4697. You may sign the guest book at www.bryanbraker .com.
