Born in Hereford, Texas, on Sept. 1, 1987, Dustin lost his lifelong courageous battle with NF2 on Aug. 18, with his family at his side.
Dustin moved to Vacaville at the age of one with his family. He attended local schools and graduated from Country High in 2005.
He enjoyed the simple things in life; fishing, riding his bike, sitting with his cat, working on cars, playing computer and video games, drawing, playing with his nephew and nieces and most of all playing cards with his family.
Dustin is survived by his parents, Tim and Denise Wells; brother, Joshua Wells; sisters, Cassandra and Amber Wells; and extended family, uncle Henry "Nick" Reyes, Monica Reyes and Eric Reyes, nephew, Antonio Isordia and nieces Estrella and Celeste Isordia all of Vacaville, grandfather Edd Wells of Garden City, Kan., aunts and uncles, Karen Cox, Rick and Fernanda Marfil, all of Vacaville, Craig and Christine Wells of Garden City, Kan., Dennis and Cyndi Wells of Marysville, Wash., Steve and Jeannie Wells of Leoti, Kan.; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lorraine and Frank Marfil; paternal grandmother, Shirley Wells; and his beloved aunt, Darlene Reyes.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 3 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of McCune Garden Chapel, 448-6546. Please sign the online guest book at mccunechapel.com.

I am a staff member at a Medical Office Dustin came to.He was so very nice and always seemed to be in good spirits depsite his serious medical condition.Seeing him made me realize we often don't have a right to complain about the small stuff,and his memory will always be with me.Thank you Dustin for the lives you touched.My prayers are with all family and friends.

Dustin i know your living life the way u want now and i no that your family misses you deeply However i no that you are now the guardian angel that everyone needs you were so young but god only takes the young and the good everything happens for a reason however it can be hard to justify why but u will always be loved and missed and in my thoughts and prayers

Dustin was the big brother I never had, he was always joking and sarcastic with his remarks but it was always with love. Dustin was a great big brother and a great friend. Dustin will be very missed by everyone that knew him, he wasn't just he guy no one remembers he was the guy that had everyone laughing by time they left! Dustin you will be missed an always loved!

I only met Dustin 2 times during my marriage into your Wonderful family, but I do know he was very loved and will be seriously Missed, I wish I could of known him better, but at last we all know he is in a better place now pain free and happy.
