I'm going to miss you Dylan. I'm going to miss talking to you and hanging out with you at the park while Reno and Roxy roamed around together. I'll miss your love and understanding of animals and nature and other cultures. Those qualities made you such a cool guy. You left a lasting impression. It'll never be the same without you. Every time I see Reno, I'll think of you. No matter what, I know Lily is right there with you.

Dear Debbie,
I saw this obituary last week, was very touched, but had no idea he was your son. Then last night at yoga, I found out he was your son. I am just heartbroken for you, as is everyone else from our yoga class. We would like to support you however you will allow us. Please take things one hour at a time, one day at a time. The pain of your loss must be overwhelming.

It was my great privilege to be chosen as Dylan's mother. I was given 21 beautiful years with this beautiful soul. I have not one regret, except that he will no longer walk beside me here on earth. My last words to him were, "I love you, son." And his to me were, "I love you too."
