Edith passed away on the morning of July 13, peacefully. She had just celebrated her 93rd birthday. She was born in Ketchum, Okla., but had lived in Vacaville for the past 40 years. She was a housewife and a mother of five.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Perry Walker, an assistant fire chief at Travis Air Force Base.
Edith was one of 10 children and is survived by three siblings: Rheba Fraser of Concord, Odie Pool of Bend, Ore., and Mae Hopkins of Ketchum, Okla; her five children and their spouses, Bob Walker (Lou) of Rio Vista, Pat Cannon (Lonnie) of La Pine, Ore., Don Walker (Melba) of Antioch, Linda Andersen (Jon) of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Robin Tiffany (Gary) of Vacaville. She had eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Edith made an impression on every life she touched. Her passing is a great loss for all of us. We will embrace every memory we've shared with her and always take her with us.
A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. today at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road, Vacaville.

Our family mourns with you at the passing of Ede. We cherish our memories of her and Uncle Perry. Garry always says his family really lived the Grapes of Wrath and Ede and Perry had the stories to prove it!
Love,

What a wonderful woman to know. She always had a smile and those beautiful eyes seemed to just sparkle. As an Aunt she was just the best, a second Mom when we needed it and always an open invitation to come by for a visit. So many memories of Ed & Perry laughing and dancing and music and just having a good time. It was a wonderful way to grow up as a part of this extended family. The world and this family was a better place for having her in it. She will be missed.

Dear Robin;
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I have fond memories of the kindnesses extended by your mother (and father as well) to my brother and I in our childhood years.
Love, Marylene
