A native of Northern California, she was 86 years old. Josephine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She also worked at Thomas Alec Cleaners in San Mateo, and at Levy Bros. in Burlingame for many years.
She was a homemaker and an excellent cook, who was very proud of her Italian cooking that we all miss very much.
Friends and family are invited to visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at The Colonial Mortuary of Crosby-N. Gray & Co., 2 Park Road, Burlingtame.
All are welcome to attend a graveside prayer and blessing at 11 a.m. Friday at Cypress Lawn Memorial, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite children's charity.

All these years later when I think of Josephine and Dominec I miss them as much as ever. Thank God for the precious memories of times gone by. We had many good times with them.

Mio Cugino e famiglia, I am so sorry for your loss. Auntie Josephine was a beautiful woman. The collection of family photos at the services last night exudes the love she had for her family and life. The twinkle in her eye radiates her true spirit. I am so thankful to have so many fond memories of her from my childhood. Now, the heavens rejoice as they welcome her arrival. My prayers are with you always.

Gary, Lucy, and Michael,
All I can think of is now Josephine is making her delicous dinners for all the folks who were waiting for her to get there.
I loved Josephine very much and the Christmas Dinners we spent with all of you are cherished memories for me. The hours/days she and Dominec spent making those delicous Ravioli's just to have us devour them in minutes.
I know this is a difficult time for you but just know that your sweet mother was loved by many. She was such a caring, loving, giving lady.
I'm glad she was a big part of my life.
Love and prayers to you at this sad time.
