Kelley Nicole Steffey

1978 - 2021

Kelley was born in Alexandria, VA, to Lynne and John McMinn on April 18, 1978. As an infant, the family relocated to Conemaugh, PA. When she was two years old, the family relocated to Vacaville. She became a big sister to Kristian McMinn in 1980.Kelley attended Cambridge Elementary, Golden West Middle School, and she graduated from Vanden High School, Class of 1996. It was in high school that she met her future husband and "love of her life," Jason Steffey. They married in September 2000 and soon relocated to the Hawaiian island of Oahu where Jason served in the military. After Jason's discharge, the couple returned to Vacaville where they happily established their permanent household and welcomed their son, Logan, in 2011.Kelley loved life to its fullest. She adored Jason and Logan, her family, her in-laws, her huge circle of friends, co-workers with whom she worked at the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield, and members of Vanden High School's Class of 1996. She will always be remembered for her sunny disposition, wit, sense of humor, and zest for life.Kelley is survived by her beloved husband, Jason; son, Logan; her beloved parents, Lynne and John McMinn; brother, Kristian McMinn; grandmother, Martha Harmon; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and mother and father-in-law, Mike and Cindy Steffey. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Edgar and Betty McMinn; Aunt Karla Davis, and Uncle Ray McMinn.A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center, 2nd floor conference room, at 1 Jelly Belly Lane, Fairfield.
