To the Ken Moon, the Wood Family want to offer you our deepest regret and our condolences for the your loss of such a wonderful man. I had only known Ken for the last 5 years while backpacking and snowshoeing around the California Sierra Nevada Mountains. Though I never meet his beloved Tamara or his children, I know that he was deeply fond of each of them. Ken was a great trail mate on our adventures as he was very passionate about the backcountry and was always up for whatever the challenge. The last time we were together on the trail was September 2014 after he finished his treatments. Ken wasn't quite "trail ready" yet and our trip to 4th of July Lake is no easy task with a full backpack and being in hiking shape. Ken never complained and it was obvious to all of us that being back in the wilderness outweighed any discomfort. It was inspiring to watch him pull himself out of that canyon. We all had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoors. Ken you will be missed on the trail my friend.
God Bless you and your family

Ken was my Cousin. I prayed the last two years for God to heal you from this horrible desease. We did not grown up together by I feel I have been able to see what kind of a person you were. A loving husband, a man of great Faith, a brother, father, son, Grampa and friend to many. I pray that you are at peace with God,your dad and son. You lightened many people's life with your gift of kindness and a heart that had enough love for everyone but, the one that stole your heart is Tamara the love of your life and she had the strength of those mountains you climbed. You live in all our hearts and will be missed by everyone. God Bless you. Until we all meet again. Connie and Noe' Rosa

A friend to many, a foe to none. A race to the finish. Now you're done.Praise be to God for allowing you to touch so many lives Ken. As I read post after post, I realized how many people you brought together. Our school alumni, old friends from afar. I think of all the people committed to praying for you that probably hadn't prayed for a long time! You must have made Him very happy. Until we meet on that beautiful shore...
