Richard I loved you and will miss you. You were a good son, brother, cousin, nephew, husband, father, grandfather and friend. I know you are in heaven with Jesus. It is a comfort to know you believed and trusted Jesus into your life and were walking with Him on earth. God has blessed you in many ways. Richard was at peace when he left us. I was with Richard in the hospital when he went to be with Jesus.

I am one of the folks who stopped at the scene shortly after the accident. I just want the family to know that Mr. McDaniel was in caring and gentle hands, and he did not suffer. He was not in pain. Just wanted you to know that.
