To Our Vicky ~ One year. How can it be? You know how much you are loved, but as importantly, know how much we value you. We more than cherish your friendship and our Russ's. Don and I just looked at some of the pictures we have from our trips together with you and Rusty. Fearsome foursome. Stay strong, you are guided by the love from Russ still.

I just found out about Russ. I lost LeRoy just a few months before and I remember when LeRoy was so sick and him and Russ spent over 1 hour on the phone. It was a good time for him to hear from Russ but sad to know that Russ was not doing good either. I'm sorry to have missed Russ's memorial. He meant a lot to both of us. God Bless you Russ and you too Vicky and family.

My wonderful Rusty - I knew I'd miss you, and I knew after you were gone, I would feel a terrible void, but there was no way to know the depths and dimensions of these feelings...I am bereft...I love you so much and I know I will see you again. Thank you for everything we became together. You encouraged me, you loved me, you helped me grow, you kept me safe......we were so blessed to find each other, and I will miss you every day of my life. I want you to know that all our friends are helping me so much; you'd be so proud of them...you were so loved by so many. And you know that I'll be ok, with you watching over me. Goodbye to my wonderful husband -- Your loving wife, Vicky

Vicky, you and Russ were always an important part of my life, and still are. I loved Russ for always making me feel beautiful and special. He was always there to offer a hug, a smile, an encouraging word for me. I will miss braiding his hair, watching him eat a good meal or just listening to his country music as he puttered in the garage. He was one of the most amazing men I know and I am so happy that I have him up there to watch over me. Love you so much..Katie

Vicky
My heartfelt sympathies for your loss. As a new person to the Plant Manager's Office and scared to death of taking minutes for my first employees' communication meeting, I knew less about the process and even fewer employees. When I found out that I would have to take the minutes as well as note the name of the person who asked a question (and their department), I wanted to jump out of my skin and run home to my mother! After writing until my fingers were cramped and stressing over the fact that I didn't know the names of one person or their department, from the back of the room, came the next question. But, it wasn't a question. Up until that time, the comments made were all negative and mean spirited. Clearly, so all could hear, a strong, steady voice said, "I want to thank management for the good job it does and for the company who makes it possible for me to work here." WHOA! Who was that? I had to find out because THAT was a person worth knowing. It's been over 18 years ago and never once did Russ ever say a mean spirited thing about anyone or not find the time to give you a smile or wave. He was a gentle spirit whose inner light was always on for everyone. I feel sad for those who didn't know his spirit. What a blessing he was in my work life. May God surround you with his pure white light, Vicky. Russ will be in our hearts always.

I feel very privilidged that I was able to know him.. With great respect and love

Mrs. Farr
Sorry to hear about the passing of Russ. I worked with him for many many years at Budweiser. Russ was a stand up guy, and everyone that came in contact with him, came away a better person. Russ always was cheerful and kind to everyone. He didn't worry about what department you worked in or look down on anyone for any reason. Russ was just an all around good person. My biggest regret is that I did not find out about his passing because it would not have been a big deal for me to come to Gasqet to attend services!

Vicky,
I am sad to hear of your loss. Sifu Farr was and will always be a great friend and human being to all that knew him and were fortunate to share and part take in his life. You could always count on Russ to give you his all, never once stopping short of getting the job done, never once complaining. He is an example to us all, and I consider it an honor to have been able to walk the road of life with him. May he and all he stood for live on for many years to come. Sifu Roelle

Hello Vicky we love you. I met you and Russell in 1994 through our love of Scuba Diving. Its where Russ and I became friends and you and I became dive buddies. Russ trusted me with his dearest possesion (you). And it was an honor to look after you under the ocean where Russ didn't feel comfortable. Russell could empty an air tank faster than anyone. I remember one time when Spike discovered an air leak in my tank and saved my dive. Spike and Russ are together now and both are very happy I'm sure..Love you Vicky.
call anytime day or night if you need to talk. Our door is always open for you...

Vicky-I am very sad to hear of Russ's passing. Every family gathering will not be the same without Russ. Russ was unique and distinctive, from his voice, (which I can still hear), and his way of telling a story. I will always remember at my wedding Russ being the first person, without hesitation, to jump up and save a large decorative archway from falling on me during the ceremony. That was the type of guy Russ was, always the first to help out, quick on his feet and always with great humor. I will miss him always. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love-Diane

I’ll always just think the world of Russ. What a sweet brother-in-law -- he was the absolute salt of the earth and I’ll miss him very much. I can think of many times at family gatherings when he cracked everybody up with a funny story or off-the-cuff remark, and that’s how I remember him best. Bless his soul, and bless you, Vicky.

Hey Vick,

It saddens me to find out that Russ is no longer with us but I truely believe he lives in a better place! You two have always been good friends, I just wished that now, more than ever, we lived closer together. I will always remember Russ for for his easy going attitude and his determination for doing the right thing because of his love for martial arts. I credit Russ for getting my wife and daughter interested in the art. His rig that supported their punching bag still hangs in my garage!

Take care Vick!

Vicky, They don't make friends as wonderful as Russ. He was a fair, loving, and all around good man. He was loved by the girls who still remember making him presents on fathers day. I have missed how he enjoyed a good meal or just sitting in the driveway enjoying good conversation. He also played a mean game of Taboo. How lucky you and he were to have the love of each other to keep your memories warm. I am here for you now as I have always been. Love Carol, I will call.

Mrs. Farr,
I've known you for 8 years now, and you were always there for me throughout the hardest time in my life, and if I can even be half the support that you were for me, it would be a great accomplishment. If you need anything at all, you know that I am here for you, no matter what or when. Russ was such a great person and I know from the look on your face when you talked about him that you guys were soulmates. I know it's hard right now, and even the smallest things seem impossible, but just know that you and Russ both have so many people that love you and are here for you. Love you!
