Thomas Bruce Clarke

Thomas Bruce Clarke, 52, passed away in Vacaville, September 10. Born March 30, 1960, Ontario, California to James E. and Lois A. Clarke (Kusko). Tom was married on June 9, 2001 to Joanna Clarke (Lee - Barr).
Tom was a descendant of a pioneer family originally settling in the Napa Valley in the early 1800s. He will be buried in the George C. Yount Pioneer Cemetery, Yountville next to his father. The Pioneer Cemetery is the resting place of five generations of his family.
Tom had many careers during his lifetime, he worked as a boilermaker for Kaiser Steel, Napa, a Facility Manager-Community Center Events Coordinator, and City of Fairfield in the mid 80's. He became a proficient paint and coatings salesman and worked for Sherwin Williams and Napa Valley Paints. He became a co-owner of CSI Paint, Napa. He was also a part owner of a construction business, Clarke Diversified Inc., Vacaville.
Tom enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Boating, Sailing and Golf, but most of all Tom was a story teller. He enjoyed sharing stories with family and friends at all sorts of functions. He was a charter member of the Fairfield-Suisun Twilight Rotary Club.
He is survived by his wife, Joanna Clarke of Winters; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Cheri Clarke, Vacaville; niece, Dana Clarke, Joplin, MO.; nephew, Danny Clarke, Chico; sister and brother-in-law, Bethanie and Thorman Lindroos; nephews, Christopher, Trevor and Eric Lindroos, all of Rohnert Park.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Monday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m., at Valley Church, 5063 Maple Road, Vacaville. Arrangements are entrusted to Bryan-Braker Funeral Home 707-425-4697. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.bryanbraker.com.
