Andrew Michie Obituary

Andrew Charles Michie went home to heaven suddenly a year ago on April 3, 2020. He died at his home in St. Augustine, Florida after feeling ill for a short time. Cause of death was determined to be cardiac arrest. Born May 10, 1985, Andrew is survived by his parents, Marge and Drew Michie of North Wales, PA, sisters Jessica (Liam) Barron of Falls Church, VA, and Amy (Reuben) Franklin of St. Augustine, FL, nephews Liam and Nicholas Andrew and nieces Bridget and Claire. Andrew is also survived by a large extended family of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Andrew was graduated from North Penn High School in 2003 and from Bloomsburg University in 2007. He was employed as a systems advisor for NACE SecurityTronix. Andrew is remembered for his sense of humor, his intellect, and his love of music, books, reading, and sports. He maintained deep loyalty to Philly sports teams even while living in Newport Beach, CA, Dallas Texas, and for 2 years in St. Augustine, FL. Immediate family held a memorial on Andrew’s beloved beach in St Augustine on July 6th, 2020. A mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday May 1st, 2021 at 11 am. at St Rose of Lima Church in North Wales, PA. Visitation is from 10 to 11 am in the church. Arrangements William R.
