Though you don't know me I worked as a salesman for Don for many years at the York location. He always treated me as a boss should treat an employee, our friendship never ended upon his retirement. We kept in contact and even snuck away for a trip or 2 to the golf course when i still made my trips to your area. Thou I left Bergeys almost 9 years ago we still tried to keep up with each other. he was a special person to me and I send my regards to your family and thank Karen Bergey for thinking enough to let me know of my friends passing...Bless you all Dane Slenker

donnie bickel will always have a special place in my heart. a quiet man, who lent himself to anyone who needed a hand. donnie lovingly tended to his yard, seeing him along with nancy decorating, trimming and planting was a common sight for those who travel troxel road. donnie is legendary for his love of making machinery shine. township fire trucks are proof of his spic and span habits. in many ways, donnie was like a secret santa. he left meals for shut ins, plowed neighbors walkways in his john deere, supported local causes and tirelessly was a presence for our fire department. he was an awesome hands on 'pop' who adored his grandchildren. donnie, you will be missed. i know you are looking over us.......
