Emory H. Curry

EMORY CURRY Emory H. Curry, 79 of Telford, died Saturday, January 28, 2012. He was the husband of Betty (Gerhart) Curry with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born December 1, 1932 in Norristown he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Hilton) Curry. Emory was a graduate of the former Lansdale High School and had worked as a plasterer. He was a member of at Immanuel Leidy's Church, Souderton. Emory enjoyed hunting, skiing, working outside his home and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Debbie Hansen (Frank); three sons, Tim (Pearl), Tracy (Phyllis) and Todd (Lori); 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers. A viewing will be held Wednesday Feb. 1, from 10 to 11AM at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 276 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964, followed by a funeral service at 11AM. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
