Ida M. Paskill

IDA PASKILL Ida M. Paskill, 96, of Lansdale and formerly Maple Glen, passed away February 6, 2013 at Dock Terrace. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph W. Paskill, who died in 1984. Born April 6, 1916, in Philadelphia, Ida was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margarete (Grau) Hoedle. Mrs. Paskill was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved cooking for her family and gardening. Ida is survived by two sons, Elwood Paskill and his wife, Sandra, of Harleysville and Joseph Paskill and his wife, Mary Lou, of Hatfield; five grandchildren, Joseph, James, Susan, Gail, and Robert; and seven great-grandchildren, Jayme, Joseph James "J.J.", Ashley, Kelly, Blake, Jessica, and Gabrielle. She is also survived by a sister, Elsie Krier of Novato, CA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and John; and six sisters, Mary, Margaret, Catherine, Amelia, Josephine, and Florence. An opportunity to view and greet the family will begin 10 AM Monday, Feb. 11, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., (1/2 block off Rte. 63) Lansdale, where her funeral service will follow at 11AM with Rev. Dr. J.D. Albert Walsh, officiating the service. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
