Joan Grindle Obituary
Joan was the wife of the late Harry C Grindle ,loving mother to four boys ,Charles and Marie of Va ,Scott and Linda of Quakertown ,Ross & Karen of Co.and Brett of Quakertown.
Grammy to seven loving grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Joan worked many years at the Wm Penn Inn ,Her love for flowers and plants lead her to becoming a founding member of the Merrybrooke Garden Club .She was a long time member of the Sanctuary United Methodists Church of North Wales .
Joan put her toes in the sands of OC and fell in love spending her summers there .
She loved to feed the birds and every animal that came her way ,there was always a stray cat that found their home with her.
She was quick with a joke and spent many hours playing cards and games with her loving grandchildren .
Joan will be missed by many ,and loved always. Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday at the William R. May Funeral Home 142 N. Main St. North Wales, PA 19454. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Home after 10 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations in her name to the Montgomery County SPCA 19 Ridge Pike Conshohocken, PA 19428 would be appreciated.

Condolences to the Grindle family. Mrs Grindle will always be remembered in the Rittenhouse family. Loved spending summers at 11th and Wesley in OC and always think of her and Harry when we go down and pass that corner.

What a wonderful fun loving lady you were. I remember all the times at the beach and the casinos. Playing cards during the holidays and your love of cats and dogs! You are now reunited with your precious Harry. May god bring your family peace. Love, Diana

I enjoyed waiting on Joan in the dinningroom at Independence Court. She always had a smile. My dad enjoyed her company at the table. She will be sadly missed. God Bless. Rest In Peace Joan.
