Growing up, we lived across the street from the Thee's. Fond memories. I am so sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing.

With the loss of Mary Ann, I remember so many things we did together. I loved spending time with her. Most of my memories are from the 1950's. Mary Ann married my brother Nick when I was nine years old. I was in the wedding and I remember the green knit dress I wore as a bridesmaid (I still have it)! Her Maid of Honor wore a gold dress. The church as packed for the wedding.
I remember walking with her at the airport in Marfa, Texas when she was pregnant with Marion Kay. We sat for a rest on the runway.
I remember being just tall enough to hold Marion Kay's hand when she was learning to walk at Mom's (Granny Thee's house in Alpine). We would stand at the back door at Granny's house while Marion Kay watched the "choo choo train" go by.
I remember Nick and Mary Ann's two story house in Marfa and the train set that Nick would put up for Christmas including the train, town, trees, station, houses- it was elaborate!
I remember Nick driving the Meads Bread truck in Marfa.
One day Pop took me to meet them at the Twin Peaks outdoor theater in Alpine close to the homestead and we watched a movie together.
Mary Ann was always smiling, happy and having fun. I will miss her dearly.
I remember all the fun times I had in PA with all you kids! I remember getting lost just "walking around the block" in Lansdale with all Mike's kids and having to call Mike to come find us. We had to stop at someone's house to use the phone to call him. We were laughing so hard!
I have special thoughts toward all the family and send love and prayers.

I always remember how happy Uncle Nick and Aunt Mary Ann were when we got together in Alpine. Uncle Nick was always my favorite Uncle, of course. Aunt Mary Ann would always "put up with" his antics! I miss them both dearly. Blessings to all my family and love from Texas!

Heaven has gained another Angel, one with a Heart of Gold and a smile that was always there. Enjoyed so many years being with her at Mariano's. If she wasn't there sitting next to Us we'd worry, she didn't miss many times. One Awesome Lady with a Capital"A". R.I.P Dear Friend.
