Peter Christophel Obituary

Peter Schlosser Christophel (73) passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 in his home in Rockford, MI. He was the widower of Carol Cunningham Christophel. They shared 43 years of marriage. He was born in Lansdale PA., and was the son of the late Reuben and Edna Christophel. He attended EMU and was employed with BF Goodrich for 30+ years. He is survived by children Scott (Leesa) Christophel and Carrie (Jon) Clark, both in Rockford, MI. Grandsons, Taylor, Connor, Dylan, and Logan Christophel, Jake and Sam Clark. He was preceded in death by siblings; Suzanne Christophel , Rosemary Smith, Deborah Christophel, and John Christophel. He is survived by siblings, Christine (Ralph) Hill, Paul (Becky) Christophel and (Mary Joyce Guill) and by in-laws, Sheri (Buddy) Wibbeler, Bobby (Mary) Cunningham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25th at 1:30 at First Baptist Church, 1716 Werling Road, New Haven IN. The viewing will be held from 12:30 to 1:30. Burial in I.O.O.F Cemetery.
