Charles Edens Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Byron Edens, 63, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 24, 2025. He was born November 10, 1961 in Seymour, Indiana. Later in life, he was an avid fan of IU sports and NASCAR, and he retired from a career as an accountant with Sony DADC.

He is survived by his father, Byron Lee Edens of Columbus, and his sisters, Donna (Mike) Edens-Magner of Nashville and Sue (Kevin) Henney of Columbus. He will also be missed by friends and family including: Rick Dowell Jr., Brandon (Lindsay) Edens Magner, Kara (Mike) Miller, Colton (Abby) Edens Magner, Kreigha Henney, Mandi (Bob) Waltermire, Missi (Gerard) Almarales, Alison Henney and several great-nieces and nephews.

Chuck was welcomed into heaven by his mom, Patricia "Pat" Louise (Holmes) Edens, and his beloved dog, Zephyr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made to Community Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) in Columbus, IN. Another special way to honor Chuck is by wearing IU gear and cheering for the Hoosiers.

Chuck was the kind of brother and uncle who always claimed he had no favorites, but he will forever be our favorite.
