Jane Linney Obituary

Jane Linney, 69, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

She was born June 11, 1948, in Columbus, the daughter of Louis J. Bosnyak and Rosalyn M. Payne Padbury.

She married Robert Lewis Linney on November 27, 1974, in Columbus; he preceded her in death on December 23, 2006.

Mrs. Linney worked for Bo'JA's collectables, and was a senior programmer analyst for Cummins Engine Company for 11 years. She worked a total of 35 years for Cummins and worked as a secretary for Arvin's for four years -- all in Columbus.

She was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in North Vernon and former member of Grace Lutheran Church, American Business Women's Association and Cummins Ladies Golf League, all in Columbus.

Mrs. Linney enjoyed watching movies and going to flea markets.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Trent) Collins of North Vernon, Linda Sue (Al) Miller of Indiana and Vickie Lynn Luedeman of Norman; companion, James Strickland of North Vernon; brothers, John (Ramona) Bosynak of Columbus, Joe M.(Cherry) Padbury and Harry R. (Angela) Padbury, both of Jasper, Alabama, Timothy A. (Lotta) Bosynak of Plantation, Florida; sister, Cathy (Tom) Hammel of Jefferson, Iowa; grandchildren, Kelsie (Ville) Kohonen of Indianapolis, Tyler Collins of North Vernon, Janet Michelle Long of Columbus, Bobby and Travis Luedeman of Indiana; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and a brother, Todd Bosynak.

A funeral service for Mrs. Linney will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Private burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
