Jewel Harmon Obituary
She is survived by her sons, Clifton Wesley Harmon of Shelbyville, Indiana and Clinton Winfrey "Bulldog" Harmon of Edinburgh, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, sisters, Freeda Black of Columbus, Indiana and Lois Burton of Byrdstown, Tennessee, and half-sister, Martha (Paul) Wheat of Edinburgh, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Clayton W. Harmon and Clement W. Harmon, grandson. Winfrey Harmon, granddaughter, Shirley Ann Harmon, great-grandson, Christopher Harmon, brother, Willie Foster. step-brothers, James H. Burton and Bobby Ray Burton, and sisters, Versie Streeval, Dennie Bryant, Leona Hadley, Mayme Stapleton, and Mae Smith.
Jewel retired from Franklin Nursing Home in Franklin, Indiana.
She enjoyed camping, cooking, and going for rides.
A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Ralph Foster at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling hours will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 13. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
